The Adlershof Technology Association, Berlin
SENTECH is member of the Adlershof Technology Association (TKA). The TKA represents more than 60 high tech companies located in Berlin-Adlershof working in such fields as metrology, materials, nanotechnology, physics, chemistry and scientific instruments.
The TKA has two goals. The first is to develop a dialogue and cooperation among its members. The second is to organize collaboration between the companies and scientific institutes of the Leibniz Society and of the Humboldt University.

Ferdinand Braun Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik, Berlin, (FBH)
The FBH is doing research in the areas od microwave and optoelectronic devices and circuits based on III-V semiconductors. Applications are oriented towards wirelessand and mobile communications, smart sensors, and high power laser diodes. SENTECH's applications lab for III-V etch technologies is located at the FBH.

IAP Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena
The Institute of Applied Physics of the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena works on design, fabrication, and application of active and passive photonic elements for optic and ooptoelectronic devices. SENTECH has a very successful colaboration with the IAP on the field of ICP etching of glass, quartz and silicon for microoptic applications.

The workgroup of Prof. Bimberg is doing research on the fields of Nanomaterials, Nanophysics, Nanophotonics and photonic Ultrahigh Frequency Measurement Technique. RIE, ICP-RIE and ICPECVD systems of SENTECH are used for the preparation of III-V quantum devices like lasers.

SENTECH works together with the group of Dr. Foest on the field of barrier layers (functional surfaces). SENTECH’s ICP plasma source PTSA 200 was attached to their deposition to investigate new deposition technologies.

ISAS – Institute of Analytical Sciences, Department Berlin
ISAS works at solving analytical problems, for this it develops new or improves existing measurement principles and procedures, analytical techniques, methods and instruments. SENTECH works together with the institute of Prof. Esser on the fields of spectroscopic ellipsometry in the IR and VUV spectral range. Hard- and software components are already successfully used at the IR and VUV spectroscopic ellipsometers installed at BESSY II, Berlin’s synchrotron radiation source.
